This ube syrup takes its flavour cue from Filipino purple yam, balancing a soft vanilla nut profile with light earthy depth so it works in milk drinks, iced coffees and blended frappés. The naturally vivid purple tone, created using sweet potato extract rather than artificial colour, turns simple iced lattes, bubble teas and milkshakes into striking menu items that stand out on social feeds and specials boards. Like other Sweetbird syrups, it is free from GMOs and artificial colours and is registered with The Vegan Society, so you use one bottle across dairy and plant based menus.​

Usage Recommendations
Iced ube latte
Add 2 pumps of ube syrup to a glass with ice, top with cold milk and a double espresso, then stir gently to create a layered purple drink.​

Ube frappé or milkshake
Blend milk, ice, a scoop of vanilla frappé or ice cream and 2–3 pumps of ube syrup, then finish with whipped cream for a dessert style drink.​

Ube bubble tea
Stir ube syrup into chilled milk or a milk tea base, pour over tapioca pearls and ice, then serve in a clear cup so the purple colour shows.
