Job Summary:
The Public Relations Executive is a critical player in our marketing team and will help us build awareness, consideration and preference for our products and services. The role would suit someone with some PR experience, who has bags of initiative and who wants to make their mark within a diverse group of companies. They will be responsible for developing and executing PR strategies to enhance the organisation's public image and engage stakeholders. This role involves creating compelling content, managing media relations, and promoting positive narratives about the company.

Salary: £24k to £29K depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:

Media Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials.
- Respond to media inquiries and facilitate interviews with key stakeholders.
- Source, nurture and manage sponsorship opportunities for the group.

Content Creation:
- Develop engaging content for press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and social media platforms.
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information for storytelling.

Event Management:
- Assist in the planning and execution of press events, product launches, charity and community outreach initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics and manage event communications.

Crisis Communication:
- Support the development of communication plans and strategies.
- Assist in managing communication during crises to protect and promote the group’s reputation.

Social Media Management:
- Liaise with the marketing team to monitor social media channels and engage with audiences.
- Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies.

Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyse media coverage and PR campaign performance.
- Prepare regular reports on PR activities and impact.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- [2-4] years of experience in public relations or communications.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Knowledge of media landscape and PR tools/software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
